Snelling Staffing is hiring a Production Assistant to work in Canton South

• Weekly Pay
• $16-$17 an hour
• 10 hour shifts with Fridays Off
• Experience is needed

Individual will be responsible for assisting with all processes of production, including operating and adjusting production machines, and assuring quality standards are met on a consistent basis. Ideal candidate will have high mechanical abilities and previous industrial production experience

Production duties include, but not limited to:

– Loading raw material onto production machines.

– Lubricating equipment.

– Making mechanical adjustments to machines to assure product stays within spec.

– Removing finished parts from machine.

– Inspect finished parts for quality standards.

– Make tooling changes for production run changes.

– Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

– Ability to work in shop atmosphere and follow safety procedures.

– Ability to repetitively lift up to 75lbs without restrictions.

– Ability to stand, kneel, bend, twist or perform repetitive tasks for up to 10 hours.

– High mechanical skills.

– Minimum 5 years’ experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.

– Forklift and pallet jack experience.

– Maintain a positive attendance record.

We offer four-day work weeks, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm
